I`ll start to expedition 27 August.
QRG - 530/520, trx from 1-2 Sep.; unfortunatelly propagation are not so
good ;-( at this period of. My rig: IC706mkII, 100W, VX-5R,Alinco SJ, 2xHonda generator.
Our team is Polish Speleological Expedition "Polarny Kras 2004",

if possible of prope-condition I`ll trx`d all time day by day, radio will
to all time on tx`ing, but i have exploring and scientific program to make
with expeditions. when I do not off base camp will be all time on the radio.

The 3 hourswill be probably my period of activity, but do not worry If
propagation will tuned I`ll be on stage. I`m not sure about antennas - have
two - bambi11 and 1xdelta, dipol to 3,5MHZ and some od GP3 to 2m for
portables ukf, but in this period of year on Sorkapp are very strong wind
and raining includes snowing. They are alot of bears who comming for food
to base camp. We go with a gun and special anti-bears border with fire and
big woice syndrome. So.. we look. I`m intend to stay some of time friendly into
hornsund in polish scientific base, here is very good antenas system - maybe
this will be another qth, but for short tripp only, because our region to
do exploring are most of south area of about 20 km to south-east glacier.
I would like ask for please to some of European station for call to myself
FRQ 520.
Will be QSK,QRV all time and look for propagation.This will be probably
about midday like I remember from 1995 prope period, also on evening. In
September will be at last days the white night of Svalbard.

I worked Erling during night, no aurora but he was still strong in to my vertical....

(User Info | Send a Message) | Hummm, very interesting, some days ago I've contacted one station that was calling like, 171 AT/EU026, the condictions was very good and fast, I got 5/7 in the log, and I give out 5/3 , so he confirmed, before me one station from 75 division also had contact, so I sent a spot to Cluster DK ,
will be a fake? Or I spoke to a real 171 station?
