The Official XX World Contest 2005 open to all participants
Date & Duration:
Part 1-(48hrs duration) will commence on Saturday 29th October at 00:00hrs (GMT) concluding Sunday 30th October 23:59hrs(GMT).
Part 2-(48hrs duration) will commence on Saturday 12th November 00:00hrs(GMT) concluding Sunday 13th November 23:59hrs (GMT).
Scoring:
1 point for each contact multiplied by DXCC contacts.
Contacts within own country are valid.
For non-members QSL verification is required for any prize claims.
Logs
Official logsheets will be available to download from this site or via email request at XXHQ@xrayxray.org.
All participants are requested to use the 'progressive number' system.
On conclusion of the contest fully completed logs must be sent to contestmanager@xrayxray.org by 31/12/05.
Winners will be notified via email and notification posted on Xray Xray website.
Entries:
Entries are welcome from both single and multi-operator stations but multi's limited to 3 operators per team.
Power restricted to 100w and anyone retrospectively found flaunting this rule will incur automatic disqualification.
In the event of a multi claiming the 1st prize it will be up to the recipients how to distribute the equipment.
Prizes:
1st=Cherokee Warrior (10/11m) Transceiver complete with Turner Expander 500 microphone, antenna & cables.
2nd=Trophy & 250 Group Cards
3rd=Plaque & 150 Group Cards
In the event of a non-member being within the prize group 2nd/3rd they will receive FREE LIFETIME membership to the Xray Xray Group with the special call ??XX2005 (i.e. 14XX2005, 20XX2005, 3XX2005 etc)
All prizes will be sent to eventual winners free of charge.
