is a non-profit and neutral organization, the participaters do not pay
anything to take
part in the contest. So all prizes are donated by sponsors for example;
Clubs, Groups, People or
Business that is strongly related to our hobby.
This also mean that the kind of Prizes
can be changed from year to year, and that there's a possibilty
to give prizes to for example the first 5 positions in a contest - it
all depends of the sponsor(s)

WWFD.DK is a non-profit
and neutral organization, this means that we are not related to a specific
club or group.
The only purpose is to organize the one and only World Wide Field
Day Contest on 11-Meter band.
It’s very important to underline that WWFD.DK is not seeking for
members as a club, the intentions of
WWFD.DK is to be a serious partner for existing clubs and to give members
of ALL clubs a possibilty
|
 |
to
strengthen the relationship among members in their own club and also to
members of other clubs - we believe that it also will increase
friendship for all the 11-meter community. To see the rules

The Logfiles and proper documentations(photos etc.) has to be
send to the Contest Manager via email no later than 21 days
after the contest has finished. You must also include the points
calculation scheme. To be declared as winner it is nessecary to
send proper documentation and these will be published at wwfd.dk
for all teams winning a price. Documentation sent later that 21
days after the contast has finished will not be uploaded to
wwfd.dk.
10.
In order not to have any problems, we strongly recommend you to
secure yourself by providing proper documentation. Via photos
you can show, that you are using a generator or battery, and you
have a portable antenna.
Take the pictures, so there is no doubt that the team is using
the equipment. A picture of a generator and nothing more shows
no proof.
See our pictures proofs page for more detailed information
concerning pictures proof.(not ready yet)
11.
It is absolutely free, if you want to exchange QSL, it is not
nessecary for your score, however we strongly recommend stations
to do so, if one part ask for a QSL-exchange. It is OK to ask
for “normal contribution” (1 us$ or 1IRC), however, you don’t
have to!
12.
All questions regarding rules will be treated by the Contest
Manager.
13.
Points will be calculated after this formular:
1 Point for a QSO
5 Point for a DXCC
10 Point for working a participating team (a /FD-station)
You multieplie all your point with the total number of worked
/FD-teams
Example:
90 QSO X 1 = 90 points
15 DXCC’s X 5 = 75 points
20 /FD-stations X 10 = 200 points
Total points 365 X 20 /FD = 7300 points
