14IR/AT100 the story

 Hi all,Hi radio friends,
This is a short story of the activity
 14IR-AT100 *EVENS Island* which was
actived by myself on the 30 and 31 of July 2005.
For informations,this very nice island
is situated at about 4 kms of the
atlantic coast in the department 44.

 I was thinking about this activity since many months and my problem was to
find someone who can put me on the island. I found a solution so I prepared
all equipment to be ready for this pleasant activity because I felt inside
me that I needed to active something interesting to enjoy radio operators
and to make me good feeling..!!!This is all what I search:have some good and
memorable moments on the air and make pleasure...!!!
So the activity began at 08H30 GMT on saturday morning and the first call
was dear Merry (14DX079 ) and some others stations arrived on the
air..!!But the propagation was capricious so it was not easy to hear some
stations...
But some children sailed and arrived on the island and looked at me with my
microphone and my strange language..!!They came near me and ask me many
questions so I take some time to explain what I did and why and it was like
a little"pile-up" of questions...!!!It was very funny and perhaps some new
operators will be born...!!
 I logged 65 stations and lived the island at 18H00 GMT to return to home for
charge the battery.
I came on sunday and began at 10H00 GMT and the propagation was very
interesting and I logged this day more stations in Europe,in South and North
America and Africa..!!So I was very happy to have logged and gave chance to
confirm the island during those 2 days for 163 stations in 23
Divisions...!!!
So I want to THANKS ALL OF THE STATIONS who took part of this pleasant
activity and sorry for others who tried to call me..!!MANY MANY THANKS for
those nice moments..!!!
I really HOPE to make some others activities or something else in the future
in our nice band ..!! ;-))
