I send info about America Contest 2006
Starting date: April, 15th at 15:00 GMT.
Finishing date: April, 16th at 15:00 GMT.
Total length: 24 hours.
All the stations of the world can participate.
Stations of America can contact all the participant stations.
Stations outside America shall only contact stations of America.
10 points by country of America will be obtained.
1 point by valid contact.
For Categories B and C - 1 point by each AT American station
contacted.
Total length is 24 hours.
Remember to send your Log to the organizing Committee (we suggested
format AT Log Sheet).
It is NOT necessary to exchange QSL to certify the contacts.
Only the stations that appear in 20% of the Logs received will be
considered as valid.
1st and 2nd of the A Category, and winner of B and C Categories will
be awarded.
The prizes will be given in the Meeting Uruguay 2006, or will be sent
by mail after the meeting is accomplished.

Hola estimado amigo!
Esta es una invitación personal para participar en el Contest de
América de ALFA TANGO que se realizará entre el 15 y 16 de Abril de
2006.
En esta nueva edición, al igual que el año anterior, el Contest será
abierto para que todas las estaciones del mundo puedan participar.
Las estaciones participantes se dividirán en tres categorías
distintas:
estaciones AT de América, estaciones noAT de América y estaciones de
resto del mundo (AT y noAT). Cada una será calificada de acuerdo al
sistema de puntaje correspondiente.
El sistema de puntuación es muy simple, y no hay ningún tipo de
restricción para realizar los contactos, excepto para las estaciones
de
resto del mundo que solo le puntuarán los contactos realizados con
estaciones de América.
La duración total del Contest es de 24 horas continuas comenzando a
las 15:00 GMT del Sábado 15 de Abril.
NO es necesario el intercambio de QSLs para certificar los contactos,
estos serán validados solo con enviar tu Log al comité organizador.
Todas las categorías serán premiadas.
Nuestra meta es, a pesar de la propagación, organizar un muy
divertido e interesante evento con una cantidad importante de
estaciones americanas y cazadoras en el aire!!!
Nosotros esperamos tener una propagación excelente y escuchar tu
estación particiapando en el concurso.
