Activation from St. Helena...63 division

Hello all!
Operator Jens is visiting Bruce in St. Helena. Jens will be active on the following frequencies as "63/30FAT103" from the 04.02.2006 to 17.03.2006:
27850 kHz/USB
27540kHz /USB
27135 kHz/USB

before this '' call '' would be 63/35FAT103...by Jens

This " call " is not official because Jens don't ask anything to FAT HQ members, but we're not dictators, si i ask to FAT HQ to take decision about that personnal activity in St Helena Island by Jens... so, wait and see.
Dear Michael, it'll be better to ask to HQ before to announce that kind of event, because after incident, HQ members must answered to any polemic, and it's big waste of time !!

As you can see there is already a preview of the QSL .
Jens also confirms on this forum page that he is visiting Bruce.
I am not aware of any FAT regulation which would order me to report any of my activity outside the 29th division (f.ex. as 13/29FAT012) to the FAT-HQ. I presume this is also correct for Jens. Free and happy !
Jens is calling with the mentioned call sign from St. Helena.
A full blown card is shown for the activation.
There was no reason for me to contact FAT HQ to ask about the activation.
Many mails send to FAT HQ in the past by myself were not answered. Or only after weeks of waiting. I understand that the running of the club takes a lot of work. So why ask about the activation ???
It would also be a bad day for the group when no member can take the other member's word for real anymore!
Questions about the activation ( QSL address, etc.) can be send to Jens e-mail address:

Hi again,

and just to want to tell more:
30FAT103 is not a correct call, search it in directory...you don't find it, in any case 35FAT103 Mr Jens ask to FAT HQ to use 30FAT103 for call when he moved in Spain.

In case of contact with this station, FAT HQ is not responsible to no QSL return, and other asking.

In conclusion: 63/30FAT103 is not valid by FAT HQ.

Thank you very much for the clarification of the subject.
I think that FAT HQ should do something about this operator. The announcement was clearly made on the above mentioned page and a FAT QSL was shown for the activation...
All the Best- may be we work Tristan Da Cunha instead !

yes for sure decision will be taken for Jens case because we can't tolerate this behaviour...free and happy yes !! anarchy NO !!
A minimum of rules must be respected inside serious group, for sure he can active under personal call inside any DXCC without permission, but minimum of respect for FAT Group is to announce this event in our forum and to HQ.
For FAT QSL using, he must asking autorization to FAT HQ before any project, it's not the case, like you said Michael...and his call is not regular in 30 div, 30FAT103 don't exist in directory, so it's like a fake station in fact.
We wat now Jens explanation, and we'll take decision in few days.
