Tired to get with me my kenwood TS 570D into my mobile, I'd like to buy a smaller one, so my question is, what is the best mobile transceiver according to the price and features? _________________ Juan -Webmaster- "ONE PERSON, ONE CALLSIGN"

I suppose this transceiver has Authomatic Tuner??
I see it in the picture but not in the specifications.
I the lower price I've found is 799.95 $, good price. Now I have to sell my kenwood TS 570 D.
Anybody is interested?

I think a Kenwood TS50S makes a nice mobile rig .
Whatever you buy, enjoy your DXing ! |

I agree Durham Radio, I bought there some radio stuff last summer. Great staff I even got some radio magazines for free. I bought it in the shop although they even got a very nice website.
I prefer a Kenwoor ts 50 for the mobile.

Automatic tuner is optional on 706, Juan...It´s called AT180 and it cost 365 U$..Quite expensive under my point of view. I have bought stuff in Canada. It was on a visit to Toronto city, in a store called ¨RadioWorld¨. More expensive than in USA but good service in a good and big store. They have website but haven´t ordered anything online yet. Here you have:

Let me look for a better price, Juan...73s

Hello again,
I haven´t found a cheaper price unfortunately, Juan. But I just found this:
http://www.qsl.net/ab4oj/icom/ic7000.html
Seems this will be the successor of the 706MKIIG. They say it will be announce at medium of 2005 and if so, 706´s prices are expecting to be lower at that time. 73s!
