I have looked at the Maco 5/8 and Solorcon IMAX 2000. Both seem to be about the same. Cost wise.. I find the 2000 to be higher in price + you need to buy an optional ground plane kit. But has anyone compared these against each other. I’m curious to know which one is the better performer + which one has the better bandwidth less a tuner. Or you have a vertical that you “use” and would like to suggest over these, I’m all ears! I am a bigger fan of an aluminium antenna... 73 Jean-Paul.
